The External Display accessory is a safety feature designed to facilitate alarm recognition while doing a pipeline survey from a vehicle. The External Display plugs into the 14K External Display output jack and attaches to the inside surface of the vehicle's windshield. The External Display can be conveniently placed by the operator anywhere on the windshield surface. This enables the operator the see the bright blue visual alarm display without having to look at the 14K Base unit. This is especially helpful in noisy environments in rough terrain where the operator may not hear the audible alarm and must keep full attention on driving.
